Do not disclose your identifiers and passwords
- Do not tell anyone your identifiers, passwords, digits on your personal key card, PIN codes or bank data.
- Your RIB/IBAN enables your bank details to be disclosed both for payments and standing orders. Limit its distribution only to people or organisations you trust.
- Be careful also of people looking at what you are doing: when you enter a password or your identifiers, particularly on a smartphone, make sure no-one is looking over your shoulder.
- When you enter your password on the becm.fr site, your browser sometimes offers to save it. For security reasons, always refuse to have your password saved.
- Change your password regularly and choose a different one for each site. Avoid passwords which are too simple and obvious.
Be wary of unsolicited e-mails or SMSs
- Be careful who you give your e-mail address and telephone number to. Only give them to individuals or organisations you trust.
- Do not open e-mails and SMSs from an unknown source. The same goes for any attachments. They may contain malicious software.
- Never enter your identifiers or passwords after clicking on a link in an e-mail whose origin you are not sure of. This type of request is frequently used by scammers to try to steal from you.
Logging on and off on becm.fr
When you connect to your Customer Space with your identifiers, you open a temporary logon session. If you forget to logoff, the session will close automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.
The date and time of your last logon appear on the homepage of your Customer Space.
